This release of Space Manager with LiveReorg has several new new reports and enhancements to screen displays that will improve user workflow.
Space Manager now has several new ways to identify objects that need to be reorganized: new reports, reorg need column added in the Explorer, and a new datafile map!
- The redesigned Explorer simplifies viewing storage information at the database, datafile, and segment levels.
- Quickly view, for each tablespace, a list of segments and segment statistics (formerly the Tablespace Map). This view conveniently includes the Reorg Need value for each segment.
- Improved performance, faster access to object lists, and consistency throughout the application as object lists are now displayed from the Space Manager Repository (by default).
- The new Datafile Map allows you to quickly visualize space usage for the selected datafile.
- A list of Top Issues for each database quickly alerts you to the objects in need of attention.
- Several new reports are available for identifying objects with the highest reorg need and for planning future capacity.
